Official PC requirements
The Steam page publishes modest minimum and recommended tiers, but it does not attach a target resolution, frame rate, graphics preset, or upscaling mode to either tier. Read the table as a storefront compatibility baseline—not as a measured performance guarantee.

The store also states that a 64-bit processor and operating system are required. If a machine is close to the minimum tier, the listing alone cannot answer whether a specific scene will hold a particular frame rate. A released build, current drivers, display resolution, background applications, and the selected graphics options all matter.
Storage size and installation headroom
Steam lists 822 MB available space. That is the published free-space requirement at this check, not a promise that every future build, shader cache, save directory, or update will remain inside exactly 822 MB.
Leave more than the minimum free before installing. Storefront download staging, unpacking, save data, crash logs, and later content updates can temporarily or permanently need additional room. The post-launch roadmap includes continuing Endless development and free content plans, so the live requirement may change.
Quota Alert: If Steam changes the storage figure after a patch, use the number shown in the current client. This page records the storefront requirement checked on July 22, not a fixed lifetime maximum.
Windows, macOS, Linux, and Steam Deck
The Steam requirement block names Windows 10 64-bit. It does not publish a native macOS or Linux build requirement. A game running through a compatibility layer is different from the developer listing native support, so this guide does not convert community reports into an official platform claim.
The official listing checked before Steam unlock also does not display a Steam Deck compatibility rating. “Playable on a PC with similar hardware” is not the same as Valve’s Verified or Playable status: controls, text size, launcher behavior, video codecs, and anti-cheat can affect that rating independently of raw performance.
For handheld play through the Xbox ecosystem, the Xbox product page lists Handheld under supported devices and identifies the game as Xbox Play Anywhere. Device eligibility still belongs to the Xbox app or product page attached to that device; it does not establish Steam Deck support.
Network and co-op requirements
Broadband internet appears in both Steam hardware tiers. The Steam listing supports single-player and online co-op, while Xbox lists online co-op for two to three players. A solo mode listing does not guarantee that every platform service can be used offline in every circumstance.
For co-op, also account for platform services:
- Steam players use the Steam multiplayer pool at launch.
- Xbox console and Xbox PC players are listed for Xbox cross-platform co-op.
- Xbox says console online multiplayer requires an eligible subscription, sold separately.
- Proximity chat makes a working microphone, correct input device, and voice permissions relevant even though no microphone model is part of the hardware table.
Use the multiplayer compatibility matrix before a group buys across different storefronts.
Supported languages
Steam lists nine languages. Coverage is not identical across audio, interface, and subtitles.

The Xbox listing independently reports nine supported languages. Check the regional storefront before purchase because a count alone does not prove that every platform package exposes exactly the same audio or subtitle options.
Pre-install checklist
- Confirm a 64-bit Windows installation for the Steam version.
- Compare CPU and GPU models, not only total RAM.
- Check dedicated VRAM: Steam distinguishes 2 GB minimum from 4 GB recommended.
- Leave extra space above the listed 822 MB.
- Update the graphics driver and operating system before diagnosing a launch issue.
- Verify the correct microphone and voice permissions before co-op.
- Recheck the live Steam or Xbox page after a major patch.
